Ford is launching a new, rough-and-tumble ad campaign for their upcoming 2015 Ford F-150, the latest in Ford’s F-150 series, which in 2014 became the best-selling truck in 38 years. With such a huge fan-base, the auto company is ready to let the world know that the 2015 F-150 is ready.
The new F-150 is made out of trendy, lighter-weight aluminum, making the vehicle easier to power while maintaining its strength. However, the usual “Built Ford Tough” ad campaign will likely not make use of this fact, that could potentially be confusing to passerby.
Nevertheless, Ford wants audiences to know that the 2015 is their toughest truck yet, and football fans will be reminded again and again during commercial breaks this season.
The 2015 F-150 is slowly appearing in some lucky dealerships (like ours) and should be present anywhere that new Ford models are sold in the next few months. Until then – enjoy the 2015 Ford F-150 ads and come visit us at Cambridge Classic Ford to see what we have in stock.
Cars.com has published their annual list of the most American cars on the road, and we can’t say we’re surprised that the 2014 Ford F-150 tops the list this year. The list is made up of both domestic brands and imports (gasp), and is determined based on how many parts in the car are made in the U.S., where the vehicle is assembled, and how many vehicles are sold here in the U.S.
A domestic brand topping the list really shouldn’t be a surprise, however, from 2009 to 2012, the Toyota Camry took the top spot. This year, we are thrilled to be taking the honor as the F-150 is truly American car, through and through. According to Cars.com, the ten vehicles on this list are the only vehicles eligible to be on the list. That means that every car you can buy right now, with the exception of these ten vehicles, are made of less than 75 percent American-made parts.
2014 Ford F-150 Specifications
The F-150 has been America’s best-selling car for decades, with a variety of trims and packages available, so each buyer can create a pickup that’s uniquely theirs. Providing excellent off-road capability, hauling and towing ability, and modern technology, the F-150 offers everything you need.
The F-150 is produced in Ford’s hometown of Dearborn, Michigan and also in Claycomo, Missouri. It just doesn’t get much more American than that.

If you hadn’t heard the word from PickupTrucks.com, Cambridge Classic Ford is proud to say it’s true: Ford defeated both GM and Ram in heavy-duty pickup truck sales. Topping 119,338 heavy-duty pickups compared to GM’s 111,555 and Ram’s much lower 77,583 trucks sold.
This is a great victory. Customers who buy heavy-duty pickup trucks tend to be very loyal customers. You don’t really hear many truck-crazy guys talking about how they couldn’t care less between the truck brands… you hear them argue and defend their brand of choice! This goes to show that Ford is really showing its strength by attracting the biggest following. This following is one that is likely to stick around for years to come and continue to support Ford.
So, this isn’t really just a one-year victory, it’s a sign of Ford dominance in the market, which is a sign in itself of Ford’s unbeatable quality and care for its customers. If you haven’t yet experienced Ford, you really should. You may never want to choose another brand again!
Last month, AOL ranked the best trucks in the country and named the Ford SVT Raptor SuperCab 6.2L and the F-150 XLT SuperCab 3.5L EcoBoost as two of their top five. Beating out over 100 other trucks, these two workhorses have proven their value to customers and reviewers alike.
With the move from a 5.4L to a 6.2L engine, the SVT Raptor SuperCab was absolutely built to leave the comfort of the paved road. Sporting a fully boxed ladder frame and specially designed BF-Goodrich All-Terrain tires, this truck feels right at home in the rocks, mud, and just about any other situation in which it finds itself.
Also pushing the Raptor to the front of the pack is the knob that allows drivers to effortlessly switch from 2-Wheel-Drive to 4-Wheel-Drive, along with the control that engages the special Off-Road Mode. This exciting feature locks the rear end and changes the throttle and transmission shift maps, along with the ABS Brakes, standard stability threshold, and traction to optimize performance after the beaten path is long behind.
Topping the list to take home the honor of AOL’s Best Pickup in America, the F-150 XLT SuperCab 3.5L EcoBoost continues Ford’s stellar tradition of powerful and dependable trucks. Praise for the EcoBoost shone throughout the review, as it supplies the extra “get-up-and-go” that drivers crave while maintaining an economically-minded 22 Highway MPG.
The F-150’s 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine’s value doesn’t just stop when the pavement ends, though. The twin-turbo, direct-injected V6 delivers an astounding 365 HP with 420 Foot-Pounds of torque, making its output more similar to Ford’s 8-Cylinder engines than its V6 counterparts. This extra boost in power makes towing or hauling a breeze for even the most demanding job.
Grabbing two of the five spots on AOL’s list, Ford has once more shown its commitment to excellence and dependability.
