Known as “The Loneliest Road in America,” US Route 50 passes straight through Ohio. Stretching 3,200 miles through 11 states, it’s likely every driver who has ever taken a trip has been on US Route 50. Bright red barns are something of an icon in Ohio and there are few roads that offer more iconic views than Ohio Route 348. Passing through Adams County, the popular route is home to scenic areas filled with red barns. Quaint towns and family-owned businesses are something of a common occurrence as well.
