Looking for something to do in the Cambridge area? Check out the following events and activities. This city is known for its diverse community and welcoming atmosphere, one of many reasons the Cambridge area has so much to do. Read on to learn more about Cambridge activities and events.
One of the most popular events in the area is the Cambridge Main Street Farmer’s Market. This event tends to be held every Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. You can find everything you need here, including things like local produce, baked goods, artisan cheeses, meat, and more. Plus, these vendors have arts and crafts as well. If you want to get some shopping done while also supporting artists and artisans in the area, check out the farmer’s market.
You should also stop by the October Fall Festival and 5K Run/Walk on October 8th. This event is held from 11:00am to 8:00pm at 627 Wheeling Ave. You can come and celebrate the fall season with crafts, food, a pet contest, a 5k, and more. Plus, with local performers, you won’t want to leave the downtown area.

There are always great Cambridge events going on and we have a list of 3 going on this weekend for you to check out. The list of events covers Friday and Saturday.
Tomorrow, Friday the 29th, is the Cambridge Main Street Farmers Market. Are you looking for good locally grown produce or amazing locally made crafts? Then this farmers market is the place for you to be! It is from 9am until 1 pm on East 8th Street in historic downtown by the Guernsey County Courthouse.
There are two events for you to choose from on Saturday the 30th or you can go to both! From 3:00pm until 4:30pm you can go on a tour of historic downtown Cambridge called the Forgotten Places & Spaces Walking Tour. The theme of the tour is different for the different dates throughout the year. Admission is $20, but it goes to a great cause to help restore our city.
Also on Saturday the 30th is the Rock the Block party. This is along historic Wheeling Avenue. Out on the sidewalks will be music and artists, and then all of the participating merchants doors will be marked with painted chairs. This will be going on from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
