Ford Fusion and Transit Connect Set Sales Records in June

The Ford Fusion will turn ten years old next year, but it looks like the vehicle is starting the celebration a little early—the sedan led Ford sales last month, moving 27,064 vehicles in June. That’s good enough for a 22 percent retail sales increase and Fusion’s best June numbers ever. The Transit Connect, meanwhile, simply had its best month ever, selling 4,573 units in June; that’s a whopping 29 percent increase in sales from 2013.

“Both the Fusion and Transit Connect set records in June, continuing their sales momentum,” said John Felice, vice president of U.S. Marketing, Sales, and Service for Ford. “F-Series again topped 60,000 sales and is tracking to our inventory plan with the lowest incentives among the major players in the segment.”

The future looks even brighter than the present for Ford, too; June saw the brand officially begin sales of the all-new Transit van, and of course, the all-new 2015 F-150 still looms large and impressive on the end-of-the-year horizon. There’s a lot to celebrate this Fourth of July weekend here at Cambridge Classic Ford, from Ford Fusion sales to all-new vehicles coming soon. So come see us for a chance to represent your country in a vehicle from the best, most patriotic brand in the land.
